Exclusivity
The mental demand and time commitment of medical school can be absolutely exhausting, so having an upscale place to live that’s comfortable, quiet, and affordable has been absolutely integral to my studies.
The apartments are practically brand new and very clean and neat. Living here for the first two years of your medical education is definitely something you will not regret!
Living in the HPA has been awesome. The apartments are brand new with washer and dryer, I love having a patio and I love having my neighbors be my classmates and friends. Having a clean, updated, nice apartment to come home to after a long day of studying is the best. Living at Health Professions Apartments has made the first two years of medical school so great. |
Convenience
The convenience of 24/7 on-demand service repair, high-speed internet and cable, hardwood floors, granite countertops, washer/dryer and a quiet building, living at the Health Professions Building has relieved me time and stress.
Living at the Health Professions Building has given me an advantage in medical school, because the commodities it offers are structured around medical students. Having a washer, dryer and dishwasher inside my unit as well as 24/7 on-demand service repair have saved me time that I used to study.
The comfort of being able to sleep and study quietly away from undergraduates partying nearby has allowed me to maintain my mental and physical health the nights before an exam. I lived here for two years and could not be happier. I highly recommend living here, the apartments are very affordable and its proximity to our Health Professions Building makes it a quick commute or walk to school. I have my fellow med school colleagues close by for support and the walking distance to CMU is such a huge convenience! Could not have asked for a better living experience for year one and two. |
Community
Being able to ask my neighbors, who are also my classmates, questions at any time during the day or night has been reassuring. All have helped me succeed in school.
Having medical students exclusively in the building means everyone is on the same schedule.
Having other classmates in the building keeps the environment quiet, secure, convenient, since your friends are around to help you when you need it. I loved the community atmosphere here. I nicknamed it “grown-up dorms” because I have all the privacy and quiet I care for, with the convenience and comfort of only my classmates next door. I never had to deal with loud, partying undergrads when studying, but it was easy to find fun together during breaks. |
Spacious
Best place to live as a medical student! Won’t find a better place for the price - having my own room, office, and bathroom with a laundry in the unit was very ideal.
Living at the Health Professions Apartments these last two years has been such a great experience for me. There is so much living space in the apartments; I am able to have both my own bedroom and my own office room. It has been essential for my studying.
The HPA is quite affordable with the given amenities and living spaces we are provided. I love the amount of space we have here and the sense of home it provides after coming back from some long hours spent at CMED. |
Service
Les is a great landlord who does whatever he can to make life a little easier on us – very affordable rent for tight budgets, quick repairs and answers to maintenance issues, and not pestering us unnecessarily.
The landlord is phenomenal to work with. He’s very understanding of medical student needs and is always extremely respectful.
Les does a lot to make sure all the tenants are taken care of in all seasons of the year. Les and his team work tirelessly to maintain a wonderful environment for medical students to thrive. Really can’t beat these apartments! |
